Chichester Priory Park CC

Welcome to Chichester Priory Park C.C.

Chichester Priory Park CC celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2001. There is a proud history of cricket being played in Priory Park and a particularly strong connection with the birth of test cricket. The ground is located within the ancient city walls.

The club has three senior Saturday Mens XI's and plays in the Sussex League, where it regularly competes for honours. In addition, we have a Sunday Devcelopment XI called 'Chipmunks'.

We have a thriving junior section with 11 teams aged from U16 down to U9, all playing very competitively. On Monday evenings in excess of 80 junior members U10 attend coaching sessions run by our team of qualified coaches. This year we have an U13 Girls team who will compete in the West Sussex League.

As a club we have the following aims:

- Enjoyable cricket played in the spirit of the game for members of all ages.

- Provide opportunities for all members to develop & play cricket to the highest level.

- Provide facilities of the highest standard.

- Provide a welcoming and friendly environment for all members and visitors.

- Provide a link with the community, providing young people with the opportunity to flourish.

- Provide support for the future development of Sussex CCC

We are always delighted to welcome new members to our club to play for any one of our teams or just to participate in our thriving club. To enquire about joining please contact Jes Goode on 07902 231144 or for junior cricket, contact Jan Barnes on 01243 785637.

Surely there can't be a better place to play or watch cricket!!

The Sports Lottery

We always appreciate help with the cost of running Chichester Priory Park, so I am delighted to introduce a great new way you can help raise funds for Chichester and have the chance to win cash prizes as well. The Sports Lottery gives you great odds of winning and importantly, gives you the power to support Chichester.

Your entry will benefit us in two ways… Firstly, just like the National Lottery, shops get a fee for selling tickets. And secondly, we will be able to apply to the Sports Lottery for funding for special projects and sponsorship although this is not conditional on us selling tickets.
